Welcome to the 98th and final episode of shuttered dominatrix. I know I had every intention of taking us all the way to 100 episodes. There's a kind of finale. And that number isn't there. The sense of completion, but sometimes when a new direction calls you don't wait. You move, you answer the call now. Not later. And that's exactly where I am today. So over the past few years, we've explored power identity transformation, and the shadows that play behind the scenes of our lives together, we've journeyed through what it means to step into leadership with audacity. And authenticity. But as I've grown, so has the vision. And I realized that shadow dominatrix was a beginning. Uh, doorway that led us into the next phase, the maturation of both this brand and myself. So this is goodbye to shadow, dominate tricks. The era of unmasking I'm calling it. A time where we've fearlessly confronted shadows and reclaimed parts of ourselves that we'd kept hidden. But now. I'm stepping into something more, a reclamation era where it's not just about uncovering, but owning and wielding that power with intention. It's about taking all that I've learned and shaping it into something transformative for the future. I'm ready to move beyond shadows and into sovereign tree. The new brand. Overarching brand is the leaders gambit. And it represents that shift, a move towards strategic and bodied leadership, where every decision aligns with the legacy that I'm building and hopefully you're building. So it's time to shift into something that reflects that evolution of this journey, who I've become and the legacy I'm building. Episode 99 next week. So, this is kind of both goodbye and hello. Shadow DAMA. Dave tricks was a beast. Wasn't she like in the best possible way. She guided us through the shadows of our psyche with dignity and grace. She wasn't afraid to face the darker parts, the hidden aspects we'd rather avoid. She held a mirror up to us. Daring us to see ourselves fully. No masks, no pretense. We stripped back layers, dove into our own shadows and reclaimed what we'd hidden from ourselves. But now it's time to step into something new. And before it real reveal. What's next. Let me take you back to the moment that led me here. I had just left a 35 year corporate career. It was at the top of my game. I had everything I never dreamed of. And yet something in me knew it was time to step away. I was staring into the unknown, the vast uncertain world of online coaching and entrepreneurship. Leaving at the pinnacle of one's career is quite a challenge, especially if you've spent most of your climb, feeding your ego, addicted to achievement and never forced to develop true prowess. Hello, my name is Louis. Nice to meet you. Right. That was me. I lived in the shadow feeding frenzy of corporate America. I mean, I was first promoted to a vice president at the age of 20. And while they reneged on the offer, When they realized my age and lack of degree, right? This was in the banking world. It taught me my first lesson. There's a lot more to corporate management than simply being qualified. Other than the few years that I took off to raise kids, I spent my entire life in top leadership positions. I was used to being a player in the corporate game. Where I knew how to win. But stepping into entrepreneurship is, and was a totally different ball game. I had a few clients right off the bat, but then I realized I would need to lean in and learn. Different skills like marketing and sales things that I had avoided preferring to stay on the ops side of the world. Like. You know, give me a good, um, wizard of was. And I'm behind the scenes making magic happen. But as it turns out, Online business is a mirror for all of our deficiencies and it's not afraid to hold it up. And that's where shot shadow. Dominatrix was born. Like my experience. Brought and grit and determination, but I wasn't prepared for the level of authenticity and embodiment required before people would trust me enough to hire me. But many did. And for that, I'm very grateful. Some. Are still with me and have been since day one. Right? And we've laughed. We've cried. Well, they've cried. I don't, I don't know if you know it already, but I'm just not a crier. Their transformations. Have been beautiful to watch. They inspired me to align what I ask of them with what I demand of myself. Iron sharpens iron power meets power. That's how I meet my clients in their highest potential, giving them the choice to rise. Yet. When I turned in my badge, keys and laptop for the last time, I had no idea what lay ahead. I remember feeling like a chicken nugget entrepreneur, like barely seasoned. Figuring things out as I went, I traded boardrooms and strategy meetings for zoom rooms and brand building. And honestly it felt surreal. I was used to certainty, to structure, to knowing my next 10 steps before I took them. And suddenly I had to redefine myself completely. That transition. Wasn't just about train, changing careers. It was about reclaiming, lost parts of myself and discovering parts that I hadn't even met yet. It was terrifying, messy and exactly what I needed. If you're standing on the edge of something unknown, you're exactly where you're meant to be. I've been there. And this transition forced me to dig deeper than I had ever done before. To develop a level of prowess that I didn't even know was possible. I'd spent decades achieving within the corporate world, but entrepreneurship demanded something entirely different. And it wasn't just about being good at what I did. It was about raising my bottom bar no longer settling for merely surviving and even excelling by others standards. It was about setting a new standard for myself. Holding others to a high standard is one thing. But when it's your own bar that needs to be raised. That's where the real work begins. I had to confront hidden fears, face complacency, and ask myself, is this really the best you can do? And that's where the power of developing troop prowess comes in. It's about meeting yourself at your highest potential, even on days when you'd rather rest on your laurels. If I'm going to call my clients to operate at their highest level, I have to be willing to go there myself to sharpen my edge every day. This is a journey of constant recalibration choosing to raise that bar and living up to it. That's the heart of the leader's gambit. It's not just about making moves. It's about making the kinds of moves that demand you become more than you were yesterday. And that's exactly what I'm inviting you to do to.
